Oh hello there! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Klara, and I am an animal lover. Horses have been my favorite animal since I can remember. I grew up in a small country town. When I was 12 years old, I started volunteering in a stable near my home. I learnt how physically demanding work it was, looking after horses, all though it never actually felt "too hard" for me.
Few years later I joined an Equestrian Club, where I was trained in dressage and showjumping. I got to compete in different disciplines, but my specialty was showjumping up to 110cm. I was very dedicated to horses and regardless of the weather I would jump on my bicycle and ride 11km to muck out stables, feed the horses, ride or exercise one and then jump on my bike and ride 11km on my bike home.
In 2005 I graduated a college and was planning to go to University, so I had to stop "horsing around" and moved to Prague. I wasn't doing well in school and overall, I missed horses! I found few people that needed help with exercising and care for their horses and that's how I spend most of my free time. At the time I also found a Club with a few black Kladruber horses, that they used for driving and I started learning how to drive horse cart and tack up.
I arrived in Australia at the beginning of 2010 and the original plan was to stay here for a year, to learn English and then go back to Europe. However that was not meant to be. After I got my second visa I found an agistment place, where I offered my help and in return, I was able to ride. I was riding mainly an OTTB called Rio and had amazing time there. Sadly a few years later the place was sold and all the horses were moved. In 2016 I have been injured in a motorcycle crash and was not able to ride or do anything with horses.
Few years later, after my health was better, I started working as a coach at South East Equestrian Club. I have taught riding to people of all ages and abilities. I have also helped with organizing events and during lockdown I was one of the coaches who was exercising and looking after the riding school horses. Unfortunately the lockdown took its tool on my mental health and I had to change the environment.

In 2020 I wanted to learn about Thoroubred Racing. I was hesitant at first, due to my beliefs that there are many people mistreating horses, but I met some nice and kind people that convinced me of the opposite and I realized that all those horrible things, I used to think about horse racing are false. I have become passionate about Horse Racing, and I have learnt to love Thoroughbreds. I also consider myself somewhat an advocate for racing industry. I get very upset when I learn about mistreatment of Racehorses. Besides of Racing I have other "passions" when it comes to horses and the biggest one for me is Liberty. I lived, worked and learn liberty from the best of the best Steve Cox. He is the main man of Australian Stunt & Film horses. Steve helped me get the confidence and taught me so much.
Couple years ago I was given an OTTB, who was abandoned by his previous owner on an agistment property. It broke my heart and I fell in love with this "Big Red Dog". He has been a quite challenge as he was completely uneducated and I had to teach him everything from a scratch. Due to his age and also the time he spent racing, he is quiet, lazy and not the sharpest, but I love him.
I also owe a paint x mare Summer, and she is a little power pony of mine. She is most likely the only mare I will ever own :) I love sassy mares, but I consider myself to be gelding girl.
